I have several “pet names” for my pet, my cat Ty. His pet names are thus: Ty-Ty. Tyquisha, Tyler the Creator, pookie, bubs, and King. Of course he's king of the castle, who else would it be? Even my boyfriend doesn't get that title of Prince, King, and gentleman.

When I was a little girl my parents called me pookie and baby. Even to this day they still call me baby even though I'm 31! I guess it can be hard to let go of those feelings when you're a parent. Your children will always be babies to you, even if they grow up. With partners I was also called baby, or babe. Or I was referred to as different animals depending on the person. Sometimes it was a baby pig, a chick, a cat, a bird. It all depends on the context of the relationship.
